The Lakes College | Class of 2025 Academic Results
12 January 2026
As we look back on the end of 2025 and reflect on the busyness of the year, it is uplifting to see the meaningful outcomes achieved by TLC's graduating Class of 2025, outcomes that reflect academic excellence, character, service and a deep commitment to others. The Lakes College (TLC) is a P-12 Uniting Church school in North Brisbane, where learning, community and faith come together to nurture confident, capable and compassionate young people.
Although Year 12 represented just 13% of TLC's student population, their seniors led with integrity, generosity and confidence, positively influencing the remaining 87% of students through their example of servant-hearted leadership. Grounded in the values of faith, love, justice and community, they contributed to the life of the College in ways that extended beyond academic achievement, fostering connection across year levels and strengthening the culture of compassion and belonging.
Academically, the Class of 2025 approached their senior studies and external examinations with focus and perseverance. Their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) results reflected this commitment, with many students achieving personal bests and securing strong post-school pathways into university, training and employment. A significant number of students also complemented their QCE with certificate qualifications and diplomas, broadening their skills and future opportunities, a testament to their resilience, discipline and determination.
The College also acknowledged those students who received Subject Achievement Commendations, achieving A-grade results across all of their General subjects, and securing early university offers from institutions across Queensland and interstate. These accomplishments reflect not only the dedication of their students, but also the strength of partnership shared between families, staff and the College community.
As a Uniting Church school, TLC recognises that success is shaped by more than academic outcomes alone. The Class of 2025 leaves The Lakes College as young people of courage, compassion and purpose, graduates who have sought to live out God’s love through kindness, inclusion and respect for others. We pray that as they enter the next chapter of their journey, they will continue to grow in faith, pursue curiosity with confidence, and shine as bearers of light in the communities they will serve and influence.
2025 NAPLAN Achievement
In addition to the achievements of their graduating class, The Lakes College is proud to acknowledge their strong 2025 NAPLAN outcomes. For the third consecutive year, TLC ranked among the top three schools in the Moreton Region for both Primary and Secondary results. Their Primary students were recognised as the number-one top-performing school in the region for the second year running, while their Secondary students achieved an impressive average score of 602, earning second place in the region. These results highlight TLC's unwavering commitment to excellence, the strength of the partnership between home and school, and the dedication of their staff and students.
