For six years, Ian and JulieAnne Harding have demonstrated outstanding commitment to community service through practical care, generosity, and sustained personal involvement. Their work has directly improved the wellbeing of individuals, families, and school communities through regular, long-term support that goes far beyond short-term assistance.
The Hardings are deeply involved in initiatives that address both immediate and ongoing needs. They provide weekly school breakfasts, distribute fresh meals to people living in social housing, and deliver hundreds of meals each month to individuals and families in need. Their approach is relational and consistent, ensuring every interaction is marked by dignity, care, and genuine connection.
Through innovative partnerships with local organisations, Ian and JulieAnne have expanded the reach and impact of their work, enabling greater support than could be achieved alone. Their leadership has strengthened community collaboration and created sustainable pathways of care across the region.
Ian’s dedication to collecting recyclable containers has generated significant funds, allowing financial support for people experiencing hardship, including assistance with school uniforms, prescription glasses, meals, and education-related expenses. These funds have been used discreetly and effectively to remove barriers for vulnerable young people and families.
Beyond practical support, they are trusted pastoral carers, offering presence, prayer, and connection during times of personal crisis. Their compassion and reliability have made a meaningful difference in the lives of more than 500 individuals.
Together, Ian and JulieAnne Harding exemplify service grounded in humility, faithfulness, and action. Their commitment, innovation, and generosity have created lasting positive impact across their community and they are highly deserving of this recognition.
