International Women's Day

The Uniting Church in Australia is a place where women are celebrated, not just on International Women's Day, but every day. On 8th March, we join the global community in honouring the strength, resilience, and contributions of women, but our commitment to supporting women in our communities, churches, and workplaces is ongoing throughout the year.

In Queensland, the Uniting Church provides a strong network of support and advocacy for women, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are met. From our dedicated staff in the Synod office to our community initiatives, we stand together in fostering a church that uplifts, empowers, and nurtures women in all their diversity.
