In many rural and remote parts of Queensland, distance and isolation can make access to support services difficult. Bush Chaplains are a vital presence in these communities; offering pastoral care, practical support, and a listening ear to those who might otherwise feel forgotten.
Whether responding in times of crisis such as drought, flood, or fire, or simply being present in everyday moments, Bush Chaplains build trusted relationships over time. They walk alongside individuals, families, and communities; strengthening resilience, nurturing wellbeing, and helping connect people with the support they need.
Our Bush Chaplains are committed to sharing Christ’s love in practical ways; ensuring that even in the most remote areas, people are known, valued, and cared for.
