The Uniting Church recognises that God calls women and men to a range of ministries including Minister of the Word, Deacon and Lay Pastor. There are ministry roles in congregations and faith communities, agencies, presbytery and Synod bodies. The Church also extends pastoral care to the wider community through Chaplaincy placements in a variety of contexts. An extended period of preparation and training precedes placement into ministry roles. We welcome your enquiry about serving in ministry.
