The Queensland Synod Disaster Relief Appeal is an ongoing appeal that raises money for those impacted by a natural disaster in the state of Queensland, including flood, fire, drought, cyclone or any other natural disaster. The disaster relief efforts of the Uniting Church in Queensland through the Synod office, local congregations and presbyteries, assist community recovery and resilience at a time of crisis.

Applying for Grants

If your local congregation or community is struggling from the consequences of flood, fire or drought we can help you with grants of up to $5,000 per congregation which you can then use for purposes of disaster relief in your local and surrounding areas.

All grants are from the Queensland Synod Disaster Relief Fund.
