New location for Wesley Mission Queensland's Brisbane Relief Hub

2 July 2026

On Tuesday 30th June, 2026, the Brisbane Relief Hub opened the doors to their new location in the heart of Fortitude Valley! This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, for a legacy service that has walked alongside Queenslanders in need for nearly 120 years.
The evening prior, we were delighted to gather with a mix of staff, volunteers, service partners, and supporters to showcase and celebrate our new space and put together care packages for our first day of service. The evening was a reminder of the strength and impact of community coming together to make a difference, which is and always has been the story of the Brisbane Relief Hub.
Each week, the Hub serves hundreds of people from all walks of life with meals, food hampers, companionship, and connection. With the help of our partners, we’re also able to provide free haircuts, medical nurses, prescription vouchers, help with rental and bills arrears, and building budgeting skills through our financial resilience program.
The Brisbane Relief Hub has always been there for people in need, and thanks to the ongoing support and generosity of our community, look forward to continuing to be there for years to come.
