Queensland Synod Bookkeeping Service

To support Congregation and Presbytery Treasurers with their financial transactions, reporting and compliance, the Synod Office provides assistance through a Bookkeeping Service team. You would be assigned a dedicated Bookkeeper that will tailor the Bookkeeping to your needs, whilst maintaining privacy and confidentiality (testimonials below).

The service provided can be temporary, partial or full Bookkeeping and may include services like:

• Conversion to Xero if on another program
• Onboard Training
• Chart of Accounts Customisation
• Preparation of your Annual Return
• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable/Bills
• Bank Account Reconciliation
• Preparation of BAS Returns for Lodgement
• Monthly Reports
• Annual Budget
• Dedicated Bookkeeper

We are currently running a Promotion, that is valid until 30 June 2026.

• If you take up the Bookkeeping Service we can offer the first 3 months for free - that could be a saving of up to $2,400.
• If you don't need the Bookkeeping Service but are interested in converting your current software system (could be MYOB, Quickbooks, or Excel) to Synod Xero Subscription, we will convert your accounts to Xero for free.
• If your accounts are already with Xero and you would like to take advantage of our Synod Xero Subscription that comes at a significantly subsidized rate and offers 1 hour of helpdesk support each month, we can transfer your current Xero subscription to Synod's Xero Subscription and give you the first 3 months for free - this could be a saving of up to $180.

NB: All of these promotions are subject to the Congregation / Presbytery being subscribed for a minimum of 12 months.
