Role Overview: As the Associate Director of Mission Pastoral and Spiritual Care, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of spiritual well-being across our diverse network of services. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will lead the development and implementation of pastoral care programs, ensuring that spiritual and emotional needs are integrated into the overall care provided.

As part of the UCQ Mission Group, the ADOM – S&PC will take the lead and provide oversight of Spiritual and Pastoral Care across UCQ Services (Health, ACCS and Prison Ministry) working collaboratively with the Managers in Health, ACCS and Prison Ministry by:

  1. Providing effective performance management and compliance with relevant legislation, standards, Uniting Church Qld Synod and UCQ Board Policies within the ADOM – S&PC portfolio
  2. Strategically leading innovative spiritual and pastoral care services, programs and projects aligned to the mission of UnitingCare and the Uniting Church.
