Arana Hills Uniting Church (AHUC) is a caring congregation believing that Jesus makes a difference and gives purpose in the life of the wider community. We provide a centre for worship, pastoral care, spiritual leadership and outreach ministry where all are welcome.
AHUC is looking for someone who can provide leadership and support to an enthusiastic congregation, leading the congregation in further discerning its mission, meaningful Sunday morning services, offering guidance to the various groups already running, pastoral care and reaching out to the local community.
AHUC is located in a rapidly transitioning southern suburb of Moreton Bay Regional Council and shares borders with some north-western suburbs of Brisbane. Its catchment includes six state schools, two retirement villages, and medium density housing is being built into what was formally a primarily suburban area. The congregation is desiring to develop new expressions of ministry to connect with the families, children and young people moving into the area.
