The Risk and Insurance team assists all entities of the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod by arranging and administering all general insurance requirements for the Church along with helping monitor, manage and mitigate some of the operational risks and exposures of the Church.
The broad major categories of general insurance arranged by the Risk and Insurance team for and on behalf of the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Property (building, contents, money etc.)
- Casualty (liability, professional indemnity, medical malpractice etc.)
- Motor vehicle fleet
- Personal accident (voluntary workers, student nurses etc.)
- Business travel
- Marine transit.
