She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out at night.
She puts her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle.
She opens her hand to the poor, and reaches out her hands to the needy.

Op Shops are a great way to utilise church property, they generate good income, have low running costs and are traditionally highly supported by volunteers. Above all, they provide a great outreach for the customers who come in and many wonderful relationships are built with the community.
Opening an Op Shop can be a daunting idea for someone who has never done it.
Through collaboration with numerous Op Shops within the Uniting Church network, an Op Shop Manual and WHS Manual is available to use as a step by step guide, ensuring your success.
We invite you to contact the BDU at bdu@ucaqld.com.au to discuss Op Shops and coffee shops as we would love to help you.
