About Project Plenty
The Synod Standing Committee has approved the rollout of a new whole-of-Synod strategic planning exercise that will shape the Synod for the years to come.
The project is a positive and collaborative platform for embracing the future and enabling our next generation of leaders. Project Plenty will involve consultation with presbyteries and congregations and collaboration and alignment with agencies, schools and all other activities of the church in Queensland.
Plenty Mission Priorities and Direction 2021-2025 Report – released in October 2020
The Shared Life. Flourishing Communities document from our work together as part of Project Plenty was considered and endorsed at the 35th Synod in Session.
This document provides an overview of our Project Plenty journey to date and the next steps in order to commit to and reach our mission priorities and directions.
You can find out more about each mission priority and commitment in a series of videos available here.
What we have heard so far?
The first stage of the project was a six–month consultation and engagement process with sessions held across the state where we spoke to Uniting Church congregations, agencies, commissions, committees and entities.
