This training specifically focusses on the information, skills and knowledge required to facilitate the Blue Care Grief and Loss Program and the Blue Care Grief, Loss and Dementia Program. To
This training specifically focusses on the information, skills and knowledge required to facilitate the Blue Care Grief and Loss Program and the Blue Care Grief, Loss and Dementia Program. To complete the training there is an expectation for you to link in with experienced facilitators in your area and co-facilitate a program within a reasonable time. The Blue Care Grief and Loss Programs are always facilitated by two trained volunteers.
The commitment required to facilitate a Grief and Loss of a loved one program is two hours per week for eight weeks, plus preparation and finish up time. For the Grief, Loss and Dementia Program is 2.5 hours per week for five weeks plus preparation and finishing time. There may also be some administrative time required to assist with advertising and scheduling of programs.
As a volunteer with Blue Care, all facilitators are required to be vaccinated, including the COVID booster.
Training times : 8.30AM – 5PM
Venue: Catalina Room, Colmslie Hotel, Cnr Wynnum & Kates St, Morningside
Cost: $100 includes 3 day training, course material, morning teas, lunches & afternoon teas.
