Emotional, spiritual and ethical end-of-life issues: An information booklet for clergy, health professionals and those facing end-of-life issues. This booklet incorporates the findings of a research project conducted by the Uniting Church Queensland Synod Bioethics Committee. The purpose of this study was to understand more fully the experiences of hospital end-of-life care from the perspective of patients, family and caregivers. The findings highlight important issues in the delivery of care and support, and provide insight into the deeply personal experiences of those facing death or the loss of a loved one.
