What is our missional impact for the Uniting Church in Queensland?
The Queensland Synod missional impact envisions us working together as a wider Uniting Church community to make a sustainable difference for First Peoples, Tomorrow’s People, Diverse People and One United People. This involves the Synod office, congregations and presbyteries working in collaboration with our agencies and schools to enable the future of mission for the communities whom we serve.
As part of this missional momentum, the Presbytery Mission Program of the Uniting Church in Queensland is designed to encourage the development and implementation of projects that achieve rich missional outcomes for church planting, Indigenous ministry, youth and children’s ministry, multicultural ministry and remote/rural area ministry.
Our aim for our Presbytery Mission Program is to invest in people, both lay and ordained, who will implement the objectives of our Presbytery Mission Program and make a positive difference to our local and wider communities.
What we need from you
Throughout this campaign, we are asking every congregation to “join hands” with those throughout the Synod. By donating $1,000 throughout the course of the campaign, congregations will be able to support a variety of missional projects both in their backyard and across the state. Congregations can hold fundraising events like trivia nights, BBQs or concerts to support this fantastic project.
